Who's Who?

It wouldn't be a Mafia family if everyone wasn't trying to recruit other people into the group... or warn their allies of people to stay the hell away from.

So! This is an OOC handwave sort of post of cross-canon CR that any of the cast might mention wanting to invite into their family or might warn their allies away from. Because keeping up with all that IC sounds like a nightmare.

brb following in Primo's footsteps by trying to recruit a king

Tsuna hasn't made any mentions of his family or what they do. As is his M.O., he's trying to establish a friendship first before going into those particular waters. As Leo is also pretty prideful, he also wants to earn his respect first. He's mentioned the Boxes to some degree, but not explained them entirely. (Only: Hey, I actually have a lion in this tiny box)

Sephiroth

Gokudera works with Sephiroth a lot. They nerd together in the library pretty much daily. Currently hashing out more magical theory type of things. But also they spar and occasionally cook too...
If asked, he would say that Sephiroth has a good head on his shoulders and same kind of aim as Vongola, he'd be a valuable ally.

Hibari would second this, if that's a thing. He's smart, competent, a good fighter, a good tactician... Even Hibari has pretty much nothing except good things to say about him.

Also, Gokudera has been very careful not to mention mafia to him. He however knows about flames and boxes quite a bit and has been in contact with others from the family and seems to be puzzling together their social structure. Gokudera isn't worried about this.

Also, he mentioned meeting Squalo before in a different world.

This is pretty much a sure thing as he's already offered it to her, she's just not inducted yet. She'll probably be official in June.

Reasoning has to do both with debt headcanon and the fact that they've established a mutual trust. She has useful abilities, a great personality, and she gently makes fun of Dino. She was one of the first people he met here, so they've got some history.

Anything else?: So, Hibari gave him a Mist ring and is working with him on illusions. However, bringing him up with anyone whose not Xanxus is mostly going to involve "stay away from him because he's an evil, manipulative jerk and a telepath".

Dirk is good for information. Gokudera will speak for that. They sort of periodically exchange information about anything and everything. No talk about mafia, though. Also he's a mechanic and quite bright.

But she's a terrifyingly powerful woman who KNOWS EVERYTHING because Xan was forced to break omerta with her due to witch punishment. Eventually, he is going to give her a Storm Ring and invite her in as an independant contractor (because let's face it, that's what the Varia is...)
